NPR editor Tricia McKinney, who last week played Holmes to my Watson, had been noticing a strange pattern on Google's Hot Trends list: a few days a week, very early in the morning, it appeared that a whole bunch of people in Texas were searching for the same very specific lewd phrases.

This seems to be a new trend among communication companies: finding a way to stay relevant. Comcast is the first mover, that I’ve seen, to throw their hat in the ring on this. Don’t be surprised to see other smaller, less known entities get gobbled up in the next year in the communication industry’s SOCIAL NETWORKING arms race.

Wake the kids, call the dog. The state-owned socialism-reliant CBC decided not to misinform you by omission, today, and actually reported a historic, record-breaking high close for the Toronto stock exchange today. I know! I don’t know what came over them. I guess maybe when state-paid CBC lawyers warned me some time ago in threatening legalese that “We will be monitoring your site”, they meant it, and they have read some of my more recent blog entries calling them out them for purpose
